The California Landscape Architectural Student Scholarship Fund (CLASS Fund) Selection Committee is pleased to announce that the 2019 CLASS Fund Grant Award goes to two Universities.

2017 – 2018

The California Landscape Architectural Student Scholarship Fund (CLASS Fund) Selection Committee is pleased to announce that the 2016-17 CLASS Fund Grant Award goes to Professor Michael Volk and his research team for a project entitled, Incorporating Climate Change into Landscape Architectural Projects and Practice. 

2016

The winner of the 2016 CLASS Fund Award goes to Dr. Galen Newman, Principal Investigator, Texas A&M University for his submission entitled “Smart Shrinkage: Design for the In-developing Landscape.”  Dr. Newman’s co-principal investigator is Associate Professor Justin Hollander of the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University.

2015

The winner of the 2015 Class Fund Award goes to Dr. Bo Yang, Principal Investigator, Utah State University for his submission entitled “Green Infrastructure Design for Stormwater Quality and Climate Change Resilience: Monitoring and Modeling Study in Semiarid Environment.”
